EXB Solutions, Inc. (EXB) is an engineering services small business focused on Systems Engineering and Test for mission-critical and safety-critical systems in the aerospace, defense, medical, and high-tech industries.  We cover a variety of technologies in these industries and we work in both real-time embedded engineering and information technology (IT) environments. 

Our systems engineering capability includes systems design, testability analysis, solution requirements definition and traceability, and support for both systems and software modeling and simulation including model based development.  Systems engineering at EXB closely complements and supports our test services throughout the life-cycle of product development.

EXB provides the following test services:

EXB has extensive experience developing systems and software test plans, test requirements, test cases, test procedures, and test reports, as well as performing regression analysis.  We have also developed EXB TestCompass™, EXB’s unique automated testing system to increase quality and project cost effectiveness.  Our test services are performed as part of development or an independent verification & validation (IV&V) effort.  We have extensive experience working under RTCA DO-178B Level A through D, DO-278, IEEE 12207, and IEC 60601-1. 

EXB has 12 years of performance history and has completed over 200 mission-critical and safety-critical projects, including project work on the Army Future Combat Systems/BCTM, NASA Orion spacecraft, NASA Space Shuttle Main Engine Controller, DoD Joint Strike Fighter, Navy Inertial Device Testing System, FAA National Airspace System (NAS) NextGen, Mayo Clinic PACS, Gambro Ultrafiltration, Embraer RJ, Airbus A380, and the Boeing 787.

EXB is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) verified by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs CVE under the VetBiz VIP program.  All EXB employees are U.S. citizens and meet ITAR requirements.  The company was founded in 2000.  EXB is ISO 9001:2008 certified and has strong program management. 

We focus exclusively on Systems Engineering and Test to ensure projects are done right the first time.  We have the right project talent and take pride in offering EXperience Based Solutions™.  Our costs are lower through rural sourcing and use of EXB TestCompass.
